Many of us limit our vision to five or ten year brackets. This gentleman and his wife, however, took it up a couple hundred notches by creating a 200 year vision for themselves.
I try my best not to post videos back to back, but today I couldn’t resist. I was contemplating what I should post when this video graced me with its presence. What caught my attention was the title and even though it wasn’t quite what I had in mind, this gentleman made some points that I could not dispute.
After he encourages people to let their imagination fly and points out 2 things that stay with me:
- Sometimes forgetting is important
- Creativity is the most important tool we have
He then makes a perception shifting statement, “I visualize my future coming towards me.”
What I really admired, was how he just got up and took action (writing the letters) in a situation that most people would have deemed an obstacle.
